Not outdorsy... Hah!

So Craig and I have never claimed to be master campers, but we are slowly getting the hang of it! We love our property up near Starvation and Strawberry! We have a quaint "little" cabin and 10 acres to just roam... Steve our new son has made us an awesome area to hang out. He and his "assistant" Brad have made a cool brick oven that is just awesome! I actually cooked eggs on it! They were good.

Other than me dumping all the corn into the fire! I think we are camping masters now! We love spending time with our kids and having no cares in the world and just enjoying our time in life! We are truly blessed!

We went to Starvation to play in the water and the kids had a great time... despite the cold!

My Baby went to Kindergarten

Wow! Am I really that old that my baby is gone? I thought I would be excited, but I am a tad bit sad! I will miss her... we had some good times and plus, she's easy! She would go everywhere with me, talk with me, play with me! I am going to be so lonely!!!!

I was so cute to see her this morning so excited. She made me give her my phone with the alarm set for 7:00 so she could get up on her own! She didn't of course she was tired. So I go in to wake her up and start tickling her back (because Zach won't get up if I don't) and she says can you stop I want to get ready now! She could hardly wait!! She then asked for a snack and I said that I didn't think she could take one in kindergarten (Zach takes a sneak-a-snack cause his lunch is later.)
She said, "Mom, I know about kindergarten. I know the rules and I know more than you!"

Well, it's official! I am in the stage in life where my kids are gone and are smarter than I am!!!

My Mom Turned 60!

Wow, what a weekend! But, the party was a success. My mom did such a great job on all the food and the plans. I know the kids had a great time. We had a few meltdowns, but all was well.

It was really fun to be all together and my dad was even in town for the weekend and it was nice to see him and see his house. I think it was the first time we were all together for a long time!

Laurie and her cute family were here too and stayed with us one short night( I wish it would have been longer). Her little baby is so danged cute I could hold her forever. I felt really close to my sisters this weekend and really am grateful to have 2 such amazing girls be in my life. They both teach me so much and are both so strong and loving that I know my life wouldn't be the same without them!

It was fun to see my brothers and wish I could have talked to them a little more. They both are really strong amazing men. Wonderful fathers and I am so impressed watching them as they raise their kids. They amaze me withe their strength!

My mom is my great joy! I am so lucky to have a mother that is there for me and loves me and cares about me.

I was really lucky to have my kids all there at the party. I wouldn't have been the same without them. I feel so incredibly selfish that I have such a wonderful set of kids and an even more amazing husband that allows me to take things out on him that aren't even his fault! He's a tropper and has put up with so much hurt and mostly from me... I don't even deserve him!
