Seven!

Sami is Seven... I just can't believe that! I asked Craig today if we should have another baby...
(He of course thinks I am insane!) But, wow my baby is seven. I have had seven wonderful years with her and what a sweet seven years it's been!

Sami is full of life and joy and drama and intensity and illness, but I wouldn't change a single thing about her. Even when she says that she wishes that Heavenly Father wouldn't have given her a head that hurt all the time. It breaks my heart to hear her say that of course, but it is a part of her. It is something that Heavenly Father has asked her to endure and hopefully she will learn why at some point in her life. She will see the lessons that He wishes to teach her. Possibly empathy for others, compassion who knows. I know that I love her and think she has so much to teach us all.

Her intensity and love of life is contagious and everyone who knows her loves her. She is our spoiled princess our baby of 7. Her brothers adore her and would do anything for her. Her sisters dote on her and love her unconditionaly. Her daddy is wrapped tightly around her little finger and her mother adores and cherishes her and loves to snugs and watch a great movie with her!

Our lives would be dull with out our Samser-Sue!!!!

Our Sweet Grayson!

So we have been having a lot of fun with GRAYSON He came over one day so I could watch him and Nicole could get some sleep!!! She is doing a wonderful job as a first time mother, but let's face it it's exhausting! It's all so new and frightening. She needed a day to just not think.

I set her up in Zach's room with blankets and heating pads and pills and she slept for most the day!
I had so much fun with Grayson. It's fun to have a baby around to just hold and cuddle. He is just darling and I love him!

He came over again the other day while Nicole went to get her nails done and have some "me" time! Natalie apparently thinks I am not capable and came home from school early to hog the baby!

He's so danged CUTE!!!!

Halloween Fun

So we had a really fun Halloween!!! The kids were able to dress up several times and it was fun to have dogs that don't eat their costumes!!!!

We first went to Lifetime for a fun with Kate's kids and were lucky enough to have the news of Grayson making his way into our lives.

We went to our Ward Party for a chili contest, games and just plain fun!
Usually, or ward has done a party just for kids that the YM/YW put on. When I was in YW's we kind of got the feeling the kids and girls were done so it hasn't been done for awhile. So our activites commitee decided to do it as a whole family event! It was fun... Nat however was a little bored cause she was one of the oldest kids there and was getting a few stares from her hooker type Utah get up... she just grabbed stuff and put it all on! And Zach refused to dress up.

HALLOWEEN night we went to Kate's and had CHILI that Nate made it was SO GOOD!!
We went trick-or-treating with Katie and Nate and Brady and Gena I was solo of course because there was a UTAH game and Craig and the boys were at that. Nat was trick-or-treating with friends. I know she is 17 but she still gets dressed up and knocks on doors and begs for candy. It's a crazy world!

The kids had a BLAST because it was warm and they had each other. We let the 3 older boys, Zach, Sage and Keegan run around on their own and we took the girls... I think it was the most candy my kids have every had on Halloween... they usually go up and down our street and are good. Of course they hardly eat any of it and I find it hidden in their rooms about Eater time! We had a fun time, but missed seeing our neighbors and friends. Our cute neighbors across the street have raised their kids and every year she makes a darling little treat bag for Zach and Sami! They love it and I just think it's the cutest thing.
She missed them and brought it over later which was sweet!
