My Sweet Boy

I don’t know if it’s possible to express in words how much I love my Zach, but I will try! He is  kind, sensitive, intelligent, ambitious, adventurous, brave, funny, sassy, quiet, creative and he is all mine!
Today, he came running home he was so excited to tell me that he won the Ken Garff Reading Contest and the prize is a brand new BIKE!  Apparently, his name was chosen out of all the reading tickets submitted by every student in every grade. I was so surprised!!! I was thinking, WOW we never win anything this must be a mistake! Then sure enough he whips out the certificate stating he is entitled to a free bike! So they were off…Craig took him to Wal-Mart and this is the bike he came home with:

I’m so proud of him! He is a natural leader. He is serving on the student council this year and he is doing well in school… I just love having a boy he’s so much fun! And we get to do things like Pine Wood Derby’s…. How can you not love it?

And More Dance….

The girls had quite a season of dance this year. We went to Logan, Ogden, Thanksgiving Point and Lagoon for competitions. It was a lot of fun having both Sami and Natalie on a company team, although the competitions days were extremely long with Sami pretty much in the morning and then Natalie not competing until late late late in the evening. Lucky we invited the Boys and Nicole to the Lagoon competition so they could have fun in between dances.

I will never get tired of watching my girls dance, they are both beautifully talented dancers each with their own style. This is Natalie’s last year as she heads of to college so it was a bittersweet recital. She cried as she presented her teachers with a large photo she and I made with pictures of her team. She learned a lot from all of them over the years and I know that it was hard to see that door close for her… but on to other things and her future is just as bright!

Kathleen and Phil were so kind to fly out to see the girls recital! I feel so blessed to have them care enough to make such an effort to be there!

A Seminary Graduate!

So after 4 years of Seminary she is officially graduated! So proud of her… it’s no small feat to keep seminary as a priority when you are a HS student trying to prepare for acceptance into college. She was always determined to graduate and keep the gospel close.

Natalie’s testimony is an inspiration to me, she has one of the strongest testimonies and what’s more is she stays true to it. She knows who she is, a daughter of a King, she knows what she believes and why and she knows what she wants for her future and will settle for no less. She stays true to her values and holds her head high and I am so proud of her and all her many accomplishments! Congrats… GRAD!
