18 Things I LOVE about Natalie:
1.She’s LOVED… September 16, 1992 Natalie arrived and was instantly loved by all… she is the first granddaughter to her beloved GMA Kathleen and GPA Phil, she was the most photographed/videoed baby in 1992 for sure!
2. She is LOW MAINTENANCE… These curlers may be the reason Natalie is not a fussy girly girly… probably scared her for life!
3 She has FUNNY EATING HABITS… Natalie has 3 food groups: Cheese (as much as her uncle Brady gets, that’s her serving), Pudding and Cereal… give her those and she’s a happy camper!
4. She’s a STAR… I love that Natalie knows who she is, she is beautiful inside and out! She has FAITH and STRENGTH of CHARACTER… she has a wonderfully strong testimony and is often sharing it with others.
5. She is TALENTED… Music, Martial Arts, Photography, Art and of course Dance… Natalie is very artistic. She expresses herself with her passion for the arts and for life! She has darling handwriting, and eye for photography can draw like no one’s business and she can dance the socks off of most!
6. She is a GOOD STUDENT… I love that she has always taken control of her schooling… she never needed to be pushed to get good grades or to take school serious and admirable quality if I do say so!
7. She’s POSITIVE… Natalie always sees the glass half full, she looks for the good in people and the good in any situation. She’s not quick to judge and moves on from hurts easily and with grace!
8. She’s LOVEABLE… Natalie has a knack for kids. It doesn’t matter where she’s at she has little kids hanging off of her. She is always running around playing tag or tickling them even if she doesn’t know them! I’ve always been asked what did I do as a mother to raise such a confident well rounded child.. I always say “She came that way!” But, I’ve had so many of her leaders and teachers express their love for her!
9. She’s a SPAZ… Natalie is always doing silly off the wall crazy stuff that makes me laugh. she has a wonderful sense of humor and can always bring any situation back to a light hearted one!
10. She has DREAMS… I will always maintain that Natalie was robbed as far as HS Dance goes, but life is not all about HS so alas I shall move on! All though she is one of the most talented dancers I have had the pleasure to watch and we had some fun times with Dance as our goal. But, Natalie has amazing dreams for her future and I admire that! She wants to help children in Africa, obtain a college degree, beome a mother and a wife. I love that she wants to be all that she can and develop every talent she has been blessed with and not have tunnel vision! Dance has been her life for so long, and we were blessed to witness her grace and beauty, but I am proud of her that she knows that she is more than that!
11. She is and ANIMAL LOVER… Not only does she love Isabelle her American Eskimo/Best Friend, she loves all animals. She has a kindred spirit with them. The feeling is mutual, when Nat had her wisdom teeth removed Isabelle was so worried, so loving and nurturing to Nat. I am afraid she hasn’t fully recovered and is still a little over protective, can you say VALIUM? I do love how much they love each other even if she says she is buying a burial plot for Izzy to be buried by her!
12. She is FEARLESS… most likely due to her worldly travels, but Natalie is not afraid to do anything or go anywhere. She’s brave and courageous in many ways.
13. She is a GOOD FRIEND… Natalie has had a “family” of friends throughout HS and I have been proud of the friends that she has chosen to surround herself with, she has been a good friend to them and they have all come to her at one time or another because they trust her advice.
14. She is MY GIRL… will always BE! We had 7 years together alone and that allowed us to create a special bond that I will always cherish. 50 years from now I know I will still call her one of my best friends.
15. She is a GREAT SISTER… Being part of a blended family hasn’t always been easy for Natalie, but one thing she has always done well is being a sister. She is loving and involved and each and everyone one of her siblings mean the world to her.
16. She’s OUTDORSY… she is definitely not her mother’s daughter when it comes to her interests! She loves to do it all and I am sure in her lifetime she will probably be in Australia swimming with Great Whites!
17. She is NURTURING… her love for her nephew is only the beginning on the road of nurturing and motherhood for Natalie… she has amazing maternal instincts and I know without a shadow of a doubt that she will be one of the most amazing mothers around.
18. She is INSIGHTFUL I love that Natalie is loved by so many, but I’ve really been impressed with her relationship with CHARLEY… She has taken it and looked at herself and how she can become the wife and mother that a returned missionary would want. She looks at his family and her family and is able to pick the good from both and strive for what she wants for herself… and ETERNAL MARRIAGE.
I know that all her dreams and wishes will come true because she always does what she says she will do!
