Spring and Dance.... Dance... and more Dance

Sami has been taking Cheer this year and had her year end recital... She was so excited to wear false eyelashes... that was the big highlight! She looked amazing and she remembered her whole dance despite missing a few practices. We were so proud of her little self. She loves dancing and being like her big sis Natalie. We are exicted that she wants to take at AED again so they can be in the same studio (easier for me!). Good Jod Samser-Sue you did great!!!!!

So my girls love to dance that is a givin! And Sring is all about recitals and competition season for Natalie so we spent the weekend in Logan and watched her compete at Nationals! It was fabulous, she was perfect as always. I am sure I am biased as her mother, but she is just a wonderful dancer and I never get tired of watching her. We took her friend Shalena with us and Shalena was a sport to hang out with me the whole time! We went out to eat and swam... it was great!!! Unfortunately, I didn't take any pics, but the girls had a blast in the pool!

Nat's recital was awesome as well. The did Beauty and the Beast and a Sleeping Beauty story. Natalie was Aurora and when she came out on stage she took everyone's breath away... she was in theis borrowed pink gown ballarenia thing with her hair down. Phil was in town and said she had the best hair in SLC. She danced gorgeous. She was also a Fairy and did that flawlessly as well. She did all her competition routines one last time and was very emotional and sad that the team wouldn't be the same next year... consequently they danced them perfection!!! I can't wait to get the DVD! I won't have to sit through the whole 6 hours I can fast forward! Yes, it was a six hour recital and I think I got a little heat stroke sitting there in the sun that long. Ah, the joys of motherhood.

But, we made it through another year of dance. Whoot-Whoot!
