Skating Anyone?

As part of our 12 Days of Christmas fun this year we went to the Galvan Center downtown to skate have dinner and see the lights at Temple Square.
Okay so I may have needed to check the weather report for the day because it was COLD… FREEZING in fact!!!!
We managed to have a blast regardless! Ryan and Jeff were awesome with Sami and Zach they went ‘round and ‘round like true dads to be!

DSC_0161These two stayed inside mostly, did I mention it was cold?
I think I may have caught Craig “red handed” teasing Nat… he swears he doesn’t, but  pictures don’t lie!
DSC_0162 At least it’s all in good fun! Two of my favorite peeps... love 'em!

DSC_0179 My adorable little family!!!!
DSC_0185Zach was awesome... he skated for so long and blew everyone out of the water with his mad skills!
DSC_0188 Now, Nicole on the other hand... maybe the funniest part of our adventure! Nicole was HYSTERICAL! She hung on to whatever was in sight… Steve… the rail…. the ice. At one point she was stuck with her knees about to the ice and couldn’t change position… it was so funny! She was a good sport too with everyone videoing her and snapping photos of her in compromising positions (I thought I'd be nice and post the sweet ones)!

Waiting for the men to move the cars so we wouldn’t get tickets as we moved on to Temple Square...

We were all a little beat and my camera died so no pictures of the Temple, but needless to say it was GORGEOUS as always. We didn’t stay long it was cold and we were beat, but there is something to be said about walking around on the Temple grounds. The spirit is undeniable and the feeling I have each year we are there is never short of humbling. Being their with my entire family only completes the gratitude I have for my Heavenly Father and the beautiful gifts I have been given!
